Refund & Return Policy

At OUDA Tea, we take great pride in the quality and authenticity of our Xinhui Chenpi and Xiao Qing Gan products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go according to plan. Below is our policy regarding returns and refunds.

1. Return Eligibility

Due to the nature of our products (food and consumables), we can only accept returns for items that are unopened, sealed, and in their original packaging.

  • Timeframe: You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. If 30 days have passed since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original, unopened packaging.

  • Proof of Purchase: To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (Order ID).

2. Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following:

  • Opened products: Any tea or Chenpi packaging that has been opened or the seal broken.

  • Gift cards.

  • Sale items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale or clearance items cannot be refunded unless they are defective.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We inspect every package before it leaves our Xinhui facility. However, if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will make it right immediately.

  • Please inspect your order upon reception.

  • If the item is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [ [email protected]].

  • Required Evidence: Please include your Order ID and clear photos of the damaged product and packaging.

  • Resolution: We will offer a full refund or send a replacement free of charge, depending on your preference.

4. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return for an unwanted (unopened) item:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at [[email protected]] with your Order ID and reason for the return.

  2. Approval: We will review your request. If approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without contacting us first.

  3. Shipping: You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

    • Note: If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

  2. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the product.

  3. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. First, check your bank account again.

  2. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

  3. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [Insert Your Support Email].

7. EU Customers (Right of Withdrawal)

If you are shipping to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. However, this right does not apply to sealed goods that were unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons. Therefore, our tea products must remain sealed to be eligible.
